All great things are super, my love of comics has inspired and taught me everything, from being young and tracing over my Spider-Man comics to learning about anatomy and how to stylize a subject and how to construct a narrative for my films. I love comics plain and simple and have drawn Spider-Man and Wolverine more than any other character. Superhero's stand for what they represent; our dreams and our desires. They also represent a time and an era, be it Captain America fighting Hitler or the X-Men fighting the racial discrimination of the 60's. In my paintings I pick images from ground breaking stories and artists and interpret them into a kind of "gallery" image.
