Pop art is a style which seeks its inspiration from commercial art and items of mass culture (such as films, comic strips or popular foods). These paintings either define us as a person, or define a place or feeling.

My first love is comic books, the reason i wanted to be a artist was the first time i saw Todd McFarlane's work on Spider-Man, i have spend hours and hours trying to perfect drawing my favorite heroes, Spider-Man and Wolverine. Comic book heroes have been around for so long they have a fluid meaning for each generation, the X-Men in the 60's made a statement on the race wars of the 60's which still have relevance now but with a new template, Batman, Spider-Man the X-Men continue still in films and re-inventions of the original stories now, and are influencing a whole new band of artists. The heroes i pick to paint well are all my favorites the ones i pretended to be as a boy (and still do sometimes) hence a lot of paintings or Spidey and Wolvie................. i love them all.
