Another horse painting commission, this time 'Casino' as for the composition it was a matter of taking the reference photo chopping out the rider, the background and the horses body and make it all out the head and face of the horse, concentrating on the how the bone structure makes up the face. And using these shapes to make up the face without adding too much heavy detail and then the shapes make up the face rather than the line...... im not sure if that makes sence...less if more, kind of thinking.
