art is a style which seeks its inspiration from
commercial art and items
of mass culture (such as films,
comic strips or popular foods). These paintings
either define us as a person, or define a place or feeling.
With
my first love being film,
these paintings really represent
my own taste. Films are generically
good looking with many iconic
images, so when it comes to choosing films you
are spoilt for choice. The paintings I create tend to
focus on films that I have enjoyed or on
actors and directors that helped define an era. |
